Hi!
I am excited to announce, I will be going on a Mission trip to Elbasan, Albania starting the first week in June! It will be an English-speaking school and camp where I can reach many kids for Christ and learn more about the inner workings of Mission life. Camp ministry is something I’m already familiar with but I know I will grow and see it in a different light after this trip.
I will be working and partnering with Kontaktmission. They are a European-based ministry that has been evangelizing and sending out missionaries since 1979. The short-term trips are called GoConnect and are specifically tailored to each individual to help serve in the best capacity they can! GoConnect trips are designed for you to meet and serve alongside multinational missionary teams, and to see up close how God is working in Europe. Before this trip, I will be going to “CrashWeekend” in Germany. CrashWeekend is there to train and encourage young people like me before being sent out! Not only will I be serving in Europe but I will be learning and working alongside missionaries who know the locals and the country.
My goal with this trip is to see if Missions are something God is calling me to do full time. I was shocked to hear that over 95% of Europeans do not have a relationship with Jesus Christ. How could I be selfish and not share God’s desire to have a relationship with them?
1 Chronicles 16:23-24 says;
“Sing to the Lord, all the earth; proclaim his salvation day after day.
Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous deeds among all peoples.”
Please be praying for the unreached people in Europe who have yet to hear about Christ. Ukraine specifically is going through spiritual and physical warfare right now, praying for Ukraine is not the least we can do it is the best! Also, be in prayer for the Christian Missionaries already over there serving the Lord. And finally, please be in prayer for me while I prepare to go on my trip, raise support, and make decisions to serve God.
